I’m passionate about helping people achieve balance in their busy lives.

I am a busy wife and mom, nurse and runner. My family and I find lots of adventure in the mountains of Colorado where we live. I am proud to have been raised on a farm in Nebraska, where I was taught the importance of hard work, excellence, farm to table practices, community and family.

I realized a passion for health and nutrition when I started running and biking in my mid thirties. I found Whole30 when trying to find a way to have more energy for my busy family. Since 2016 I have been applying these practices and have found that the principles of Whole30 have provided a really balanced nutritional format. Practicing the balance that I learned through Whole30 has helped me balance many other aspects of my life.

Food For Thought

It is such a privilege to be entrusted to walk with clients on their journey to health. As a nurse, part of my job is to work with patients who have Gestational Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, abnormal menstrual cycles, obesity, high cholesterol and other health problems. There is nothing that brings me more satisfaction than watching patients as they discover wellness through good nutrition. As a Whole30 coach, I see my purpose as helping clients discover how optimal health equips them to discover their true purpose in life. I believe that each of us is created to live an abundant life, filled with meaning, joy and purpose. When we remove obstacles to our health, we can pursue a healthy lifestyle. During that process we often discover that we are unleashed to live out our purpose.

I value progress, not perfection.

I am such a work in progress. This is what I love about Whole30! Whole30 is not a “one and done” program. Whole30 provides a road map to guide you to a healthier life. I have been following the philosophy of Whole30 for many years. I love that if I start to get off track in my nutrition or relationship with food, there is a safety net built in to help me get back on track! I don’t eat perfectly every day, but I know that I feel so much better when I am eating real, nutrient dense foods. I am not perfect in my eating habits. Pursuing a healthy lifestyle should embrace grace not greatness. Making lifestyle changes is hard work and far too many people are caught up in the cycle of pursuing perfection in regards to their health. Restrictive calorie counting, daily frustrations with the scale, and excessive workouts can all lead to an unhealthy view of self.

By focusing on progress, not perfection we are set free to focus on what matters most. As your coach I will help you balance your approach to wellness and celebrate with you every bit of progress along the way.

I believe that we all want to live a passionate life! Investing in your health and addressing how food impacts your emotions, energy, relationships and wellness often serves as a catalyst for people to live a more abundant and passionate life! So often we relate to food in ways that go beyond eating for nourishment. Eating healthy, natural foods is the best way to fuel your body for the demands of your busy life and allows you to have the energy to pursue your passions and live the way you were created to live. It is my passion to help you achieve YOUR passion

*Even though I am a Registered Nurse, I am not a Registered Dietician or Nutritionist. When you work with me as your coach I do not provide medical recommendations or diet plans.

As your coach, I will help you understand and follow the principles and guidelines to complete a Whole30. This does not replace receiving healthcare from a licensed Dr. and I always encourage my clients to seek medical advice from their PCP if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication have a history of eating disorders or have any medical conditions being followed by a physician.
