Wholesome Nutrition 2.0

Today, I am launching my new, beautiful, and revamped website! This update was inspired by changes that I have known for over a year that were coming up this month.

I am so excited to share this with you, my community, and I am so grateful to my dear friend who took so much care to turn my vision into this beautiful reality.

Since I started my business in 2019 and when my first website launched, I have experienced significant changes in my life.

In 2019, I was married, working in a private practice doing ultrasounds for OB patients and nutrition education for patients in that practice. My daughters were 15 and 12. I was a newly Certified Whole30 Coach and was just beginning to dream of owning my own coaching business.

Today, almost five years later, I have been divorced for four years. I am back to working in the High-Risk OB setting, doing ultrasounds part-time. My daughters are 20 and 16. I have launched my oldest to college and am enjoying watching her flourish. My youngest, who in 2019 was struggling with uncontrolled epilepsy, is now seizure-free for over a year and thriving.

Since 2019, I have expanded my coaching business and achieved advanced certifications, including being an Advanced Level Certified Whole30 Coach and the 2022 Coach of the Year.

I also have become certified through IIN as a Certified Integrative Health Coach and Hormone Health Coach. I have completed an Advanced Coaching Practicum course and plan to sit for my National Board Certification Exam soon.

I have grown my business from zero clients to well over 900 (to be honest, I’ve lost track!) I was recently spotlighted by “Women-Owned Wednesdays” which is an online blog community of women-owned businesses offering a behind-the-scenes look at women entrepreneurs and their businesses.

My website change was brought about when I discovered that Whole30, the brand that inspired my coaching and healthier lifestyle, is sunsetting its Certified Coaching Program.

When I first heard about the coaching program dissolving, I was shaken. There were so many emotions, one of them being fear. I knew better than to let fear guide me though. I quickly made a decision that I would continue guiding clients through their Whole30 journey, but with the time that I was given, I chose to use the time to pivot. I chose to move forward with excitement, curiosity and with a lot of enthusiasm.

While this change means that a chapter of my book is coming to an end, it also means that I have had the opportunity to dream of ways that I can continue to do what I am so passionate about in a different way.

One thing that the past 4 1/2 years have taught me is that change isn’t always bad. I have grown so much in so many ways over the past few years. My life is so beautiful and full. I have gained so many genuine friendships through my coaching, and I have bold and audacious dreams of where I will be 5 years from now.

I am excited about where my coaching business is going, and I am building it from here with YOUR needs in mind.

I have personally experienced how focusing on a healthy lifestyle has enhanced my life. It is my deep desire to help others experience the same feeling of vitality and well-being that is now a regular part of my life.

I am here for you. If you are struggling with physical ailments, symptoms of inflammation, stubborn weight gain, or other health problems, I have an arsenal of tools that might be the key to unlocking your vitality. I want to give my clients agency over their health. It would be my absolute honor to walk alongside you and encourage you on your path to better health.

As an RN and Certified Health Coach, I am able to guide you through elimination diets, keto, Low FODMAP, AIP, paleo, low-carb, vegetarian, and vegan, as well as intermittent fasting. Together, we can curate a plan that will bring you to the healthiest version of you.

Currently, my passionate focus is on helping people improve their Metabolic Health.

Metabolic disease is preventable, but yet, 88% of Americans are suffering from effects of Metabolic Dysfunction. The sad part of this is that most people are unaware of the root cause of their problems and are being told that these symptoms are “a normal part of aging.” As a coach with a focus on prevention and health optimization, I know I can help those suffering from this!

It is also important to me that you know, as your friend, I am always here for you; I am cheering you on, supporting you, and wishing you the best that life offers. This life is so good, and I hope that you can fully enjoy every bit of it in the best version of your highest self.

So, with Whole30 closing their coaching offerings, I am looking forward with excitement, knowing that I have taken this time to grow, which in turn, has provided me so many resources and a wealth of information that I get to pass on to you, my community.

Welcome to Wholesome Nutrition 2.0! This is going to be an amazing ride!

With deep love and Best in Health,

Coach Kim

Kim Sandman

I am a busy wife and mom, nurse, and runner.  I found a passion for health and wellness when I started running and biking in my mid-thirties. I became even more interested in applying natural approaches to health when my youngest daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy. I found Whole30 when trying to find a way to have more energy for my busy family.  Using Whole30 principles has helped me balance many other aspects of my life.

“I believe in progress, not perfection. Having this as my focus helps me have more grace for myself when life throws unexpected challenges my way. I look forward to helping you find the same grace for yourself in your journey toward health.”
